Tehran is prepared to reinitiate nuclear discussions with the United States as long as it is handled with "respect" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue worked, and disclosed fresh requests had originated from intermediaries to reopen negotiations with the US government. He said Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Navigating a Complex Path

Magic Solution Suggested

Tehran representatives said they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was settled an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could refine atomic fuel. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was entirely non-military.

It had not been decided in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could work inside Iran, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. He stated: "We managed to survive this engagement. Our nuclear technology, which they aimed to destroy, remains in place. The facilities and machinery, if damaged, will be restored; what is crucial is the will of the Iranian people and then the unity of the country that they targeted, but failed to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have grown more powerful, more integrated, and more endorsing of the government and the country in the wake of this attack."
