An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
